Repackaged old articles that are sometimes contradicting and always hard to read.

I had to buy this as a text book for a class. I will probably use this book as a method of punishment for my children. Forcing anyone to read a section and write a summary should be enough to dissuade them from ever doing wrong again.

A much needed anthology about the experience of South Asian women in America. This is the book I wish I had gotten to read when I was 12 and newly arrived in the country. Full disclosure- I have an essay in here too. But reading the 26 other essays was incredibly powerful. So much necessary truth telling here.
