an entertaining dragon

Here a review by my son, 7 years old, 2nd grade: "I think the moral of the story is that even as a dragon you should not bully others, and that you don't have to listen to others all the time because they might not be always right." We both found this book funny and entertaining.

Fred the dragon is a fun read, but a flawed character

I bought this book after returning the copy we had checked out from the local library. My 3-year-old daughter kept asking me to read it to her so I had to get it. I actually don't like the story very much. I find Fred to be a selfish character. In the end, he does say sorry but it doesn't seem very sincere. It feels like he gets rewarded for his poor behavior. But it is a fun read with opportunity to do different voices to entertain your child. When I come across stories like this one, I just use it as an opportunity to talk about what the character did wrong and how his behavior and treatment of others could be better. I also didn't like the bit about sheep and mint sauce since we don't eat animals.

Silly and Fun Book for kids

I bought this for my son who is seven and loves books. It was quite funny, a little modernized with some crude humor, but fine in my opinion for my seven year old. He thought it was hilarious and we read it over and over quite a few nights before bed. Highly recommend for kids who love silly books and like the independence of being able to read on their own.

The heart is a four-dimensional structure, comprising three spatial dimensions of shape and one temporal dimension of motion. Many technological advances in the field of imaging, such as intracardiac echocardiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and 3-D electroanatomical image integration mapping systems, have enhanced our ability to visualize, map, and navigate in the heart. Nevertheless, fluoroscopy remains the cornerstone of all interventional electrophysiology procedures and, with the limitations of current technologies, will continue to be extensively used for many years to come.

A skilled fluoroscopist with the use of multiple projections can deduce the anatomy and catheter location with remarkable spatial detail. However, since fluoroscopy provides a real-time unmodified view to the operator, there is no easy way to organize the multiple measurements taken from a moving catheter into a more clinically useful model of cardiac electrical activity. As a result, significant clinical experience with fluoroscopy is necessary to accurately position catheters at an exact intracardiac site.

Atlas of Radioscopic Catheter Placement for the Electrophysiologist is unique because it is the first book that provides a teaching tool for fellows in training, allied health professionals and accomplished electrophysiologists on relevant X-ray views commonly encountered in different electrophysiology procedures, and how these views correlate with cardiac anatomy. Wow. It's hard to put into words the positive effect Jack's story has had on my life. Be it his childhood friendship with Steve Jobs or his inspirational work with Dende and the other Jungle Children, Jack's is a tale of inspiration, discipline, and love. By simply lifting boxes and furniture and taking them from one place to another, Jack went from a tubby loser to a strong, confident man. I am tearing up just thinking about it now.
